| Race 1 | ABSOLUTELY ELECTRICAL C2 - C2 - 520 | MR. DARCI was slow to begin then bumped with MY LIL LUCIFER, settled at the rear and stayed back throughout the race to finiish in 7th place. OPAWA JEN was checked on the first bend, went back to last and never improved her position. |
| Race 2 | MORRIE GIBBONS SIGNS C3 - C3 - 305 | TIME TO FIND shifted in from the start and caused jostling and checks to SUPREME SHELLEEN, CRYSTAL WAVE and BIGTIME CHIP and they lost ground with CRYSTAL WAVE and SUPREME SHELLEEN the most affected and they went back to the rear and stayed there. TIME TO FIND galloped on the back of BIGTIME CHIP going into the bend and they both lost two lengths. |
| Race 3 | J P PRINT (PETONE) C3 - C3 - 305 | STEVIE'S MAGIC, KINETIC RIO and JILL SPRITE came together and jostled for a distance going to the first corner and they settled at the rear and stayed there for the remaider of the race. |
| Race 4 | PALAMOUNTAINS SCIENTIFIC NUTRITION C2/3 - C2/3 - 520 | The favourite KNUCKLE BUMP was a little slow to begin but went forward to be handy going into the first bend. He was then bumped on that bend by ZIPPING ORRICK and became unbalanced losing ground. KNUCKLE BUMP was again bumped by ALAMEIN JAH on the final bend and shifted out to collide with OPAWA STELLA and they finished in the last two places. |

| Race 6 | WANGANUI SECURITY C4 - C4 - 305 | CAWBOURNE BULLY and FLYING TRANCE jostled together for a short distance soon after the start and lost momentum. Soon after, HOMEBUSH SARGE shifted in and hampered FASTBACK KING and ATTIRE for a couple of strides. |
| Race 7 | HARRISON HIRE MASTER C4 - C4 - 305 | HEY YOU, TIME'S UP and JUMPIN SALLY bumped together when the start was made and they lost ground and settled back. TIME'S UP collided with the hind quarters of JUMPIN SALLY going into the bend and they lost two lengths. HEY YOU, BOSS LADY SLOY and REBEL CITY bumped together entering the home straight and they lost ground and finiished in the last three places. |
| Race 8 | THE ROCK 95.2FM C4 - C4 - 520 | ZIPPING TAY and CHECK THE MAIL bumped together at the start and settled back at the rear. They bumped together again going into the first turn losing further ground and stayed back to finish at the rear. |
| Race 9 | Palamountians Scientific Nutrition Wanganui Distance Gp1 Final - C2df - 755 | COOL PURSUIT shifted in abruptly from the start and collided with RETALIATE FIRST and thye lost several lengths and settled at the rear. COOL PURSUIT recovered well to make up ground for 4th place but RETALIATE FIRST stayed back throughout to finish in last place. OPAWA TANIA shifted out going into the first corner and this resulted in checks to itself and also BUDDY BROKE and INDIANA IZMIR and they lost two lengths. |
| Race 10 | KEENAN CONCRETE C5 - C5 - 520 | One of the favourites WAY TOO CRUDE drew box 8 and he was slow to begin and settled back and stayed there throughout the race to finish in 2nd last place. |
| Race 11 | GARY ROSS DECORATOR C5 - C5 - 305 | EXPONENTIAL LILY shifted in going into the bend and crowded SWAPAN which went back and out and then galloped on the heels of EXPONENTIAL LILY and they both lost three lengths and stayed back to finish at the rear. |
| Race 12 | CROMBIE LOCKWOOD (NZ) LTD C5 - C5 - 305 | COSMIC FURY, HOMEBUSH CRASH and CAWBOURNE LIGNITE were slow to begin and settled at the rear. BOLT RAMA shifted in going into the bend and checked COSMIC FURY which lost three lengths and he stayed back to finish in last place. |
