Track: Heavy The meeting was conducted in appalling conditions but the track provided safe footing with no injuries being reported.

Judicial report: DOLEUZE (J Dunn) which had qualified for the 520m final, was withdrawn prior to the box draw with a veterinary certificate supplied.

Race 1	Christchurch Casino Sprint - C1 - 295	SEA SPRAY BORIS (5) and CORPORATE IMAGE (8) were the last to jump. CAWBOURNE FLOW (3) angled outwards in the early stages pushing ANOTHER COVER (4) out on to FULLA TORQUE (6). NITRO EXPRESS (7) angled inwards into the bend tightening FULLA TORQUE who lost ground and checked CORPORATE IMAGE.
Race 2	Little Brown Jug Dash - C1 - 295	PLAGIARISM (7) ran sharply inwards as the start causing tightening to INKA SUPREME (6), CHOCDEE KAREN (5), WANDY MILLAH (4) and NOT SO CUTE (3) who comprised the rear half of the field on settling as a result.
Race 3	racingdogs.co.nz Sprint - C1 - 295	BIG MUDDY (3), OHOKA HOPE (5) and EDITORIAL (8) were all a touch slow to jump. CAWBOURNE CRUZE (6) ran inwards in the early stages checking THREE KNOTS (4) and BIG MUDDY. On the bend EDITORIAL ran inwards checked OHOKA HOPE who in turn ran outwards pushing BIG MUDDY wider on the track. OHOKA HOPE and CAWBOURNE CRUZE came together on the home turn when well back.
Race 4	Dave Robbie Photographer Stakes - C1 - 520	CASINO BLACK (2) was last to settle. GOLDSTAR ROSIE (4) was checked into the first bend and lost ground. OPAWA PAUL (1) checked outwards off the heels of HOMEBUSH ZELDA (7) on the first bend and lost ground.
Race 5	C.T.V. Sprint - C1 - 295	ARCHIE'S COMET (5) was last to jump. HOMEBUSH RADAR (1) was tightened in the back straight and lost ground.
Race 6	Angler's Arms Tavern Stakes - C1 - 520	COVER TO COVER (7) was last to jump. OPAWA GAVIN (1) angled outwards into the first bend pushing COVER TO COVER wider on the track. OPAWA GAVIN was held up for room on the home turn when racing to the inside of OPAWA PEARL (5) when that bitch started to weaken.
Race 7	Kolorful Kanvas Dash - C1 - 295	TIME SLAYER (3) was a clear last at the jump. WORD FOR WORD (2) was tightened into the bend and lost momentum. WORD FOR WORD shifted up the track on the home turn checking CHURCHILL CHASER (1) for a stride.
Race 8	Shirley Vet Clinic Stakes - C1 - 520	KAINO (7) and SCOTSOME POWER (9) were the last pair to jump. WAGON WHEEL (4) was tightened into the first bend and dropped to the rear. KAINO ran wide on the first bend.
Race 9	Johnny Midnight At Stud Sprint - C1 - 295	LOOK AT LUCY (8) was last to jump. MUSTANG MAGZ (4) and ANOTHER FANTASY (5) came together for a stride in the early stages with MUSTANG MAGZ losing ground. QUE TEE CHICKS (3) was checked on the bend and lost ground. MUSTANG MAGZ ran wide on the home turn.
Race 10	Super Pets Stakes Final - C1f - 520	OPAWA SAM (5) and KNOW DANGER (6) were the last pair to jump. FLIP FLIPPA (3) was dragged down into the first bend and lost ground. On the bend KAREN'S MAGIC (2) checked outwards off the heels of BOTANY COMET (7) and pushed FLIP FLIPPA and CAWBOURNE MONARO (4) wide on the track.
Race 11	Islington Tavern Dash - C1 - 295	MR. NOVEMBER (4) was a shade slow to jump. OHOKA COBY (3) was checked into the bend as CALA RAPITA (6) crossed in front of him.
Race 12	Speight's Sprint - C1 - 295	The lure stopped after 100 metres. All dogs were vet checked and passed fit to re-run the race after the lure was changed and tested. DUCO TO DUCO (2) and MOP HEAD (3) were the last pair on jumping. BELFAST JANE (4) lost ground after coming together with SMASH MAGIC (6) on her outside.
