Judicial report: KIN NIKKI (L Waretini) which had been stood down for being in season on 10 April, was represented to the vet and found to be not in season, with the stand down being rescinded in terms of Rule 64.11.

Race 1	Super Pets Sprint - C4 - 295	This race was delayed by two minutes due to the harness horses needing to be assembled at the top end of the track. KNOW LIES (6) was last to jump. SWIP AND TEAR (3) and MILDRED LILLIAN (5) were both tightened into the bend and lost ground.
Race 2	I Pave Concrete Dash - C3 - 295	GEORGIE WONG (4) and WEE TERRA (5) were the last pair from the traps. RUN FOR SOPHIE (3) ran outwards in the early stages and remained wide on the track throughout. LYNNY SOUTHCOMBE (8) was obliged to race wide on the bend.
Race 3	Thursday Place Pick Dash - C4 - 295	ANOTHER JEWEL (1) and BLUE GALE RISE (8) were both a touch slow to jump with ANOTHER JEWEL accelerating quickly to lead into the bend. CAWBOURNE JELLY (5) and KNOW FAULT (6) both ran inwards in the back straight causing tightening to TAKE NO PRISONER (3) and BUTTERBEAN (4) who both lost ground. ELKI (2) was squeezed on the bend and lost ground. BLUE GALE RISE angled outwards on the home turn brushing with BUTTERBEAN for a stride.
Race 4	Kolorful Kanvas Stakes - C3 - 520	EVEN SEVEN (6) and OPAWA BOMB (7) were the last pair to jump. HOMEBUSH IRIS (5) was tightened into the first bend and lost ground. Wider out MAGIC COLT (3) clipped the hindquarters of OPAWA ZARA (4) with both runners losing momentum and dropping to the rear. EVEN SEVEN was held up for room to improve at the end of the back straight.
Race 5	Shirley Vet Clinic Sprint - C5 - 295	The favourite KERAMUS (7) was a clear last at the jump. DRYSDALE (3) was badly checked in the early stages as SOPHIE'S TERRA (2) ran outwards and CAWBOURNE DASHER (4) angled towards the rail. HOMEBUSH CHOPPER (6) made his customary inwards movement in the back straight checking CAWBOURNE DASHER, SOPHIE'S TERRA and ARKADEN (1) who all lost ground and their chances.
Race 6	Chris & Lisa Earl Stakes - C4 - 520	NOT A KNOW (2), OPAWA JED (3) and GEE CEE BEE (8) were the last trio from the traps. LAUDABLE (1) angled outwards in the run to the first bend causing some inconvenience to OPAWA STYLE (4). NOT A KNOW checked off runners into the first bend and ran wide. Into the back straight CRINITI'S (5) was tightened and lost a length.
Race 7	Garden City Chem-Dry Dash - C5 - 295	GO HOUSIE (4) was slow to jump and then faltered soon after. GO HOUSIE failed to complete the event and was referred to the vet for assessment. BILLY WEST (2) was tardy from the traps. IONA HAKA (9) ran inwards in the back straight checking BILLY WEST who lost ground. Into the bend JUMPIN' JULIA (5) and ROQETTE (6) were both checked as DILLMANSTOWN (3) shifted up the track.
Race 8	David Emerson Consultancy Stakes - C5 - 520	KNOW ATTEMPT (2) and TRAVELLING JOE (9) were the last pair on jumping. CAWBOURNE WAR (1) and NO UNDIES SUNDY (5) came together for a stride on the first bend with KNOW ATTEMPT and TRAVELLING JOE being inconvenienced in behind. On the final turn KNOW ATTEMPT received a terminal check when racing to the outside of NO UNDIES SUNDY with KNOW ATTEMPT dropping out. This dog was referred to the vet for assessment and cleared of injury.
Race 9	Christchurch Casino Distance Feature - C2d - 645	OPAWA BRO (9) was last to jump. COURT THE BELLE (6) was checked in the early stages after colliding with THRILLING SOUND (5) and dropped to the rear. OPAWA BRO was tightened into the back straight and ran wide losing ground. COURT THE BELLE checked outwards off runners on the home turn and lost ground. LOCHINVAR CAMARO (3) stopped badly over the concluding stages and was referred to the vet for assessment where some cramp was detected. Trainer C Roberts advised that this was the dog's first start over a distance at Addington adding that he felt the dog would improve with the experience. A dead-heat for third was declared after the judge was unable to ascertain the position of the nose of COURT THE BELLE who was obscured between runners.
Race 10	2014 Robbie's Bar & Bistro New Zealand Oaks - R/Af - 520	LADY SHAMBI (5) ran inwards in the early stages tightening HARPER ROSE (4) and OPAWA STRETCH (3) who both lost ground. Closer in AMBILIGHT (9) and ANDREA (1) jostled for a few strides and lost momentum. AMBILIGHT was then dragged down into the bend and dropped to a clear last. On the first bend LADY SHAMBI ran outwards pushing STAY YOUNG (6) outwards checking HYPERPARADISE (8) who lost ground.
Race 11	Flair Dash - C5 - 295	CAWBOURNE TOMCAT (1) was last to jump. PEARL'S BOY (5) angled outwards marginally into the bend keeping the favourite SOZIN'S COMET (6) wider on the track. In behind KNOW JEALOUSY (7) received a slight check and lost momentum with CAWBOURNE TOMCAT being forced wide around this runner.
Race 12	Speight's Sprint - C4 - 295	This race was delayed by four minutes due to a false start at the harness meeting. HOMEBUSH EDITH (6) was tightened into the bend and dropped to the rear. On the bend STAR DREAMER (2) was tightened and ran outwards pushing NOBLE FANTASY (3) and WANDY CHICK (7) wider on the track.
