Track: Good The track was presented in very good order and after remedial work carried out by the Curators, there were no signs of the dogs slipping which was experienced at the meeting conducted two days previous

Judicial report: Trainer W.T.Hodgson was fined $ 50-00 under the Minor Infringement Table for a breach of Rule 71.2 when there was no catcher arranged for JUST MAC in Race one.

Race 1	Absolutely Electrical C2/3 - C2/3 - 520	SHARKIES DREAM and SPEED LEGEND were slow to begin and settled at the rear with SHARKIE'S DREAM in particular losing several lengths and she tailed the field throughout.. SPEED LEGEND checked off the heels of JUST MAC on the fiirst bend and shifted out a little wide but ran on very well to win.
Race 2	Harrison Hire Master C3 - C3 - 305	WHAT A PEANUT was slow to begin losing two lengths and he then shifted in across the heels of HOMEBUSH CRAIG and hampered that runner whio lost ground. WHAT A PEANUT then secured a clear rails run and finished well for 2nd place. WORKING WORKING shifted out when leading going into the bend and this resulted in checks to itself and FLYING FABIO who raced onto the heels of WORKING WORKING and they both lost ground.
Race 3	Guthrie Bowron C2 Feature - C2 - 520	JAG YOU ARE and ERIC'S SONG collided when jumping from the boxes and they settled at the rear and stayed there throughout the race. The favourite TIME FRAUD was also a little slow to begin and was then checked going into the first bend and again approaching the back straight when avoiding the heels of ASHER and she never recovered and finished in 6th place. THRILLING AVA shifted in going into the back straight and checked JAG YOU ARE who lost three lengths and finished at the rear.
Race 4	J P Print Petone C4/5 - C4/5 - 305	CAWBOURNE PLUNGE, MAKING DEBREE and CALL ME RALPH were slow to begin losing two lengths. CALL ME RALPH recovered well to make a big run looping the field to win the race. MAKING DEBREE galloped on the back of UNO ALLEGRO on the bend and they both lost four lengths. A few strides further on, UNO ALLEGRO checked off the heels of ATE PIZZA and went back onto MAKING DEBREE and HYPOTENTIAL with all three losing ground and they finished at the rear.
Race 5	Gary Ross Decorator C4/5 - C4/5 - 305	MIRAGE began very awkwardly losing several lengths and all chance. CHEETAH WOODS was also a little slow to begin and then began to drift on the bend and finished several lengths last and was referred to the Vet for assessment. VICKI'S QUEST shifted in going to the first corner and caused jostling to DARLEK KHAN and LLAMEDOS for some distance and they lost five lengths.
Race 6	Wanganui Security C3 Final - C3f - 305	KINETIC NEO and RED MOOVA HOOVA bumped together at the start. RED MOOVA HOOVA then shifted out and jostled with YALDHURST EDWARD for some distance and they both became unbalanced and lost ground going into the bend. BOUND BY PRIDE was awkwardly placed in a tight position adjacent to the rail going to the first corner and lost ground. He the recovered well to make up ground and finished in 2nd place.
Race 7	Palamountains Nutrition C4/5 - C4/5 - 305	BELKARA clipped the heels of KINETIC RIO going into the bend and KINETIC RIO was hampered and ran wide into the bend losing ground. BELKARA was referred to the Vet for assessment.
Race 8	Mickey's Super Liquor C4 - C4 - 520	CORTECCIA was a little slow to begin and settled back. OKUKU DREAMER and BIGTIME LATTE jostled together going to the first corner and OKUKU DREAMER lost two lengths in the incident. CORTECCIA checked off the back of THRILLING CAIRO going into the back straight with both dogs losing ground and they stayed back to finish at the rear.
Race 9	Crombie Lockwood (NZ) Ltd Wanganui Distance Final - C2df - 755	KNOW HONOUR and BUDDY BROKE were a little slow to begin and settled back. THRILLING BRAT led early in the race but ran very wide down the home straight on the first occasion giving the lead away. However, he made up the ground on the last bend and went on to win. BUDDY BROKE was awkwardly placed between BIGTIME KELINA and MR CHINO on the final bend and eventually shifted out on the home turn into clear room and collided with SPICY BLING with both dogs losing some momentum.
Race 10	Keenan Concrete C5 Final - C5f - 520	PEDRO'S FIRST and MAGIC LASS were slow to begin and settled at the rear. BARRY'S WAY and FIZZLE BALE collided going into the first bend losing a little ground and JETSUN FLAME and PEDRO'S FIRST who were following were forced a little wide on the bend.
Race 11	Broad Roofing C4 - C4 - 305	GEM'S CONQUEST and SASSAFRAS both began a little awkwardly and settled back. GEM'S CONQUEST and ANOTHER LADY jostled together for several strides in the run to the first corner and both lost ground.
Race 12	The Rock 95.2FM C4 - C4 - 305	THRILLING SQUEAL shifted in from the start and hampered ENFLAME and JACKS FIRST for a few strides. KRUSSIAN shifted in crowding ENFLAME on the first corner and ENFLAME then made contact with EVER SO HOPEFUL and they both lost momentum.
