Weather: Overcast
Track: Good The track was presented in a very good racing condition All boxes will be throughly checked over before the next meeting
Scales: correct at all weights
Health and Safety comment: Nil

Judicial report: The electrical system on the 457 m boxes has been addressed with no hand starts from these boxes tonight .
In race 8 -- 650 m the lids failed to open at the first attempt after checking the electrical systems it was found that a connection had come loose with the movment of the boxes on to the track
This was reconnected and the race started with out any further problems
The starter was reminded to check all connections after the boxes have been placed on the track for the 650 starts in the future
In race 10 just before the lure tripped the lids there was movment towards the inside due to the runner in the 2 box pushing against the lids
Trainer G Cleeve lodged an objection by phone with the Stewards in regards to the start of his runner KNOW THOUGHT being denied a fair start from box 3
It was determined after reviewing the start that the lids lifted evenly across the whole field and the payout was authorised
There was no problems with the starts for race 12 & 13 from the 457 boxes boxes later in the programme
The meeting was put back 1 race due to the delay from race 10

Race 1	The Clubhouse Sports Bar Series Final - C1f - 457	Soon after the start MATRIX and ALPINADOR came together jostling for a few strides Nearing the home turn COME A CROPPER (fav) was trailing the leader BORASCO where he made a run towards the lead COME A CROPPER ran in to the back of BORASCO and was pulled down and stopped BORASCO was almost pulled down and lost all chance there after BORASCO suffered an injury during the race and was referred to the vet for assessment COME A CROPPER suffered an injury during the race and was referred to the vet for assessment
Race 2	Kirstie McGrail @ Harcourts Stakes - C2 - 457	EXCITING GIRL and BEAU RIVAGE where the slowest away soon after they came together jostling for several strides. Racing in to the first turn NAUGHTY COURTY made contact with the rail at that point she came back out off the rail on to ZAGATO and DIVA RHODE who where checked BEAU RIVAGE ran on to the heels of DIVA RHODE as this runner went back BEAU RIVAGE lost several lengths as did the other runners CIRI RIOLI raced to the front soon after the start and was clear of the inteference in to the first turn racing away for an easy win
Race 3	Palamountains Nutrition Series Final - C3f - 375	Soon after the jump PREDATOR DRONE was hampered for room for several strides as PRIDE OF SOUTH and MR MAJESTIC moved ground PREDATOR DRONE raced wide in to and across the top bend
Race 4	Arch Lawrence NZRS Distance Final - NZRSdf - 747	THRILLING BRAT raced in his usual style racing wide along the back and front straights giving KNOW PEACE a clear run up on his inside through out the contest but he could not keep THRILLING BRAT at bay in the run home
Race 5	Cambridge Mitre 10 Mega Sprint - C5 - 375	racing down in to the first turn BLUE TRAMP became akwardly placed for a couple of strides and almost made contact with the rail he recovered well to keep his position near the lead finishing strongly in 2nd placing at the line
Race 6	Affordable Pet Accessories Stakes - C4 - 457	In his first start for 6 weeks PEGEON APPEAL was tightened soon after the jump going back to the rear he was forced to make ground around the field across the top bend finishing strongly for 3rd placing at the line Racing on to the point of the first turn ON TREY and MAHALO RHODE came together checking each other for a stride or so
Race 7	Te Awamutu Self Storage Maiden Series Final - C0f - 457	SAM BOY was akwardly away from box 2 further out BUGSY BANGLES COAL SACK and LITTLE TEEGAN came together Racing in to the first turn TEKAU ran in making contact with the rail he went back a couple of lengths but finished on strongly in the home straight to be a close up 3rd at the line As the field raced in to the home straight BUBLIN GOLD and EL JETTA collided when racing in handy positions both runners lost momentum and a couple of lengths TEKAU suffered an injury during the race and was referred to the vet for assessment
Race 8	$20,000 Pick6 Graduation Distance - C1d - 650	The lids on the boxes did not open at the first attempt ( refer judicial ) The dogs where unloaded and checked over by the vet with all dogs being cleared for a restart The race was restarted with out any further problems
Race 9	Denis Cole Memorial Waikato Sprint Final - C5f - 375	Racing to the first turn RUBY TRON came out off the rail running in to the shoulder of TIZ NOW both runners became unbalanced for a couple of strides directly in behind these runners THRILLING HAVOC caught their heels as they came back on him THRILLING HAVOC stumbled badly but recovered his footing soon after racing on to the top bend THRILLING HAVOC was severly checked again as RUBY TRON came back on him after she ran in to the back of TIZ NOW with MY JACK ATTACK CAPTAIN COUTTS and all tangling and running out wide on the top bend THRILLING HAVOC suffered an injury during the race and was referred to the vet for assessment
Race 10	Palamountains Nutrition Waikato Classic Final - R/Af - 457	The payout was held for for sometime after an objection was lodged by trainer Mr G Cleeve in respect of the start concerning his runner KNOW THOUGHT COSMIC MACK in box 2 had pushed up against the lids resulting in some movement just before the lure arrived to open the lids COSMIC MACK went up with the lids and lost a length OPAWA SWEDE from the 8 box was the slowest by a couple of lengths After reviewing the start the Stewards are of the opinion that whilst there was some movment the lids opened cleanly so the pay out of dividends was authorised
Race 11	All Sew Embroidery Sprint - C4 - 375	racing in to the home turn PICNIC TIME and MAHONIE came together for several strides
Race 12	Waikato Cup Final - C5f - 457	Racing to the first turn COOL IZMER COME ON RODGE and FANCY TIP came together for a couple of strides soon after racing in to the first turn KOKO WHIZ and PRETTY GOOD came together for a stride
Race 13	Superior Chunky Dog Rolls Stakes - C5 - 457	All clear
