| Race 1 | Manawatu Raceway Sprint C0 - C0 - 375 | TALK BACK and PUPPET MASTER were slow to begin losing three lengths. HOMEBUSH JULIE shifted out going into the bend and forced KOTUMBA, REBEL JOE, PANSY BAXTER and TALK BACK to race wide on the track. |
| Race 2 | Beltdrive Dash C1 - C1 - 375 | BELLE CADEAU shifted in from the start causing checks to MAJMA, GHOST CHIPS, CALL ME RALPH who all lost ground with MAJMA the most affected and he went back to last. MAJMA then raced very wide on the bend and into the straight over extra ground and finished in 6th place. |
| Race 3 | Tasman Tanning Sprint C2 - C2 - 375 | YALDHURST EDWARD was slow to begin losing two lengths. NO LANE raced wide on the bend and into the straight covering extra ground but kept up a strong run to win the race. |
| Race 4 | Elite Powder Coaters Stakes C1 - C1 - 457 | SAMMY JAMES shifted out going into the bend as MAC TAN and ARMOUR shifted in and this resulted in checks to SAMMY JAMES and THRILLING AVA being checked and losing ground. SAMMY JAMES made up ground well from there to finish in 2nd place but THRILLING AVA stayed back to finish in 6th place. |
| Race 5 | Nanas Knickers Dash C3 - C3 - 375 | NICKI HAKA was slow to begin losing two lengths. DYNA FRIER and COSMIC MACK jostled together going to the first corner and lost a little momentum and then COSMIC MACK was checked going into the bend and fell. He was examined by the Vet and cleared of injury. |

WANDY KYLE went off stride soon after the start and drifted back to finish the race some distance behind the other runners. He was examined by the Vet and stood down for 10 days with a hip support injury. |
| Race 7 | Scott Installations C4 - C4 - 375 | THRILLING HALO was checked going to the first corner and went back causing checks to PARRA SPARRA and OPAWA THORN. CAWBOURNE EMO was handy to the lead on the bend but was checked back to last and stayed there to finish in that position. |
| Race 8 | Carroll Contractors C4 - C4 - 457 | THRILLING DEAL and DYNA DIEGO were slow to begin losing two lengths but they made up ground well to finish in 3rd and 4th places. BLUE TOOTH TONY was checked and went back onto BIMBOO with both dogs losing ground and finishing at the rear. |
| Race 9 | Manawatu Harness Racing Club C5 - C5 - 375 | EVER SO HOPEFUL and INISHFREE shifted in going to the first corner and caused tightening and subsequent checks to LITTLE BLACKSPOT ( box 1 ) and SOSAN ( box 2 ) and they went back to the rear and stayed well back for the remainder of the race. |
| Race 10 | Nancy Cobain Distance Final Group 2 - C2df - 766 | The favourite OPAWA EYE led going into the first bend but shortened stride soon after and drifted quickly back through the field to finish a long last. She was examined by the Vet and stood down for 10 days with a quadricep muscle injury. JAG YOU ARE dropped back soon after the start and stayed back to finish several lengths behind the 3rd last dog and was also examined by the Vet and stood down for 10 days with a hip support injury. RETALIATE FIRST ran very wide into the first bend losing several lengths but ran on well to finish in 3rd place. PETROL VOUCHER was checked and lost three lengths going into the final bend. |
| Race 11 | Manawatu Cup C5 Ht1 - C5q - 457 Heat 1 | MAGIC MAGGIE was slow to begin losing two lengths. RYBENBROOK JOSH shifted in soon after the start and crowded MR METICULOUS for several strides until he was eventually checked back to the rear where he stayed for the remainder of the race. |
