MINI'S FANTASY continued to angle outwards into the bend with MEMPHIS HOTCAKES again being inconvenienced and dropping to the rear. The favourite GENISTA GARDENS shortened stride on the bend and dropped right out with a post race veterinary check revealing a torn triceps muscle with a 21 day stand down recommended. |
| Race 2 | Happy Birthday David Waites Dash - C4 - 295 | GEORGE BAXTER was a shade slow to jump. Into the bend GEORGE BAXTER checked outwards off the back of SEA SPRAY TICH and into the path of DYNA BROWNLOW with these dogs losing ground. |

| Race 6 | Super Pets Lightning Sprint Heat - C5q - 295 Heat 3 | Two strides after dispatch IONA HAKA ducked inwards checking KNOW ESCAPE and OUR BEOWULF with these runners settling at the rear. Into the bend OUR BEOWULF angled outwards coming together with KNOW ESCAPE for a stride with HOMEBUSH CRAIG being kept wider on the track as a result. |

| Race 12 | Speights Sprint - C4 - 295 | ANOTHER GON and ADINI the two favourites were last to jump. WANDY PAM and KNOX were tightened into the bend and lost ground. On the home turn THRILLING CLOVER was checked and turned sideways with TOM FINN and WANDY PAM being badly checked and losing their chances. |
