| Race 1 | Journey Park Stud Sprint - C2 - 318 | Racing down to the first turn JETSUN BELLE checked back off the heels of COOL AND DRY ,then moved out wards on to PARADISE CITY who was tightened between runners as MOODY TUNES came in with PARADISE CITY being hampered again as EMMA JAY came across on to her PARADISE CITY was pushed over on to JETSUN BELLE who was turned sideways almost hitting the rail JETSUN BELLE went back towards the rear and was observed to be short in her action down the home straight ,she was sent for a vet check and was found to be suffering from right infraspinatus muscle injury & right wrist pain with a 21 day stand down recommended |
| Race 2 | Greyhound Function Centre Sprint - C3 - 318 | ANOTHER RAEWYN was awkwardly away from midfield ,she was soon checked back to the rear as ELLY'S GIRL and KEE raced across towards the rail Racing in to the first turn ANOTHER RAEWYN was tightened and squeezed back again as COTSWALD PRINCEcame in and CRAFTY GRAHAM came out of the rail ANOTHER RAEWYN was was not able to get back in to contention from there on in finishing in the rear at the line. |
| Race 3 | Reel-Fishin.com Stakes - C1 - 527 | CHERRY TREE LANE was slowest away from the start ,racing in to the first bend TRINITY BOY raced outwards taking THRILLING NEWS and CHERRY TREE LANE wide in to and around the first bend CHERRY TREE LANE was observed to shorten stride at this point and went further back in the rear finishing a long last at the line CHERRY TREE LANE was vetted and was found to have suffered a left hind grazed pad with a 14 day stand down recommended |
| Race 4 | Thornton Auctions Sprint - C4 - 318 | From the boxes MOON WARROWER raced straight across the face of the field causing tightning to BLACK CAULDRON, CATCH A PUNTA ,PUNK PORTSEA ,then MOON WARROWER raced across on to KID KOONAWARRA and severly tightened MISS ARKANSAS as they raced in to the first turn MISS ARKANSAS went back towards the rear beating only one other runner to the line and was sent for a vet check and was found to be suffering from right wrist pain & left hock pain with a 10 day stand down recommended |
| Race 5 | Karen Thomson Stakes - C2 - 527 | Soon after the start WOT PRICE CURLY caught a heel of DECADENT as THRILLING SOUND came across forcing WOT PRICE CURLY over with this runner falling at that point WOT PRICE CURLY recovered his footing to finish on to the lure some distance behind the field and was sent for a vet check and was found to have suffered right trapezius muscle injury with a 14 day stand down recommended Racing around the first bend CORTECCIA ran up on the back of PAMPEST and was almost stopped in her tracks ,she went back to the rear , on the home turn CORTECCIA ran in on to PAMPEST with these two runners jostling for a couple of strides |
| Race 6 | Carol's TABS Stakes - C3 - 527 | In the run down to the first turn EDWARD CULLEN was tightened between INDEED UNIQUE who was checking off heels and EFF FIVE WARNING coming over resulting in EDWARD CULLEN falling at this point with EFF FIVE WARNING, SURFIG AL and INDEED UNIQUE being badly checked and running out wide in avoiding the falling runner EDWARD CULLEN recovered his footing to finish on to the lure a distance behind the field and was sent for a vet check. and was found to have suffered general soreness with a 14 days stand down recommended |
| Race 7 | MTA Auckland Cup Consolation - C5 - 527 | MINT POWER was slow away ,and was soon hampered as ULTIMATE DREAM came across as EMI;LY BAXTER moved outwards,racing in to the first turn MINT POWER and DYNA JOE came together and jostled for a couple of strides Racing in to the home straight DYNA JOE came out on to MINT POWER as SWIFT SWINGER ran inwards in to the racing line of DYNA JOE with all three runners being checked |
| Race 8 | Magic Sprite Railway Sprint - C5f - 318 | Racing down to the first turn CAPTAIN COUTTS was checked and stumbled as he ran in to the back of ONE TOUGH COOKIE ,CAPTAIN COUTTS lost several lengths in this incident ,a few metres further on DIAMOND RAIDER was severly checked as ONE TOUGH COOKIE crossed to the rail ,DIAMOND RAIDER went back to the rear at this point losing 7 or so lengths Soon after racing in to the top bend BOTANY ANGELA ran on to the heels of DIAMOND RAIDER and fell BOTANY ANGELA recovered her footing to finish on to the lure some distance behind the field and was sent for a vet check |
| Race 9 | Roy Thomson Stakes - C4 - 527 | In the run in to the first turn ALABASTER was in the lead and was hit in the hindquarters by LOCHINVAR LAREDO trying to get up on his inside, ALABASTER went off stride and was soon galloping uncomfortably going back to the rear and was asissted off the track for veterinary attention ALABASTER was found to have suffered a right long head triceps rupture wioth a 28 day stand down recommended |
| Race 10 | MTA Auckland Cup - C5f - 527 | LITTLE MOTHER (fav) was forced to race wide throuhout the race , she ran on well for 3rd placing at the line |
| Race 11 | Magic Sprite Railway Sprint Consolation - C5 - 318 | Racing down to the first turn there was tightning and jostling in the midfield as runners came across with LEATHAL REBEL(fav) coming across on to MOTHERLEE and being knocked in the shoulder and going down on his hindquarters sliding along the track for a couple of strides LEATHAL WEAPON went back to the rear and never got back in to contention from there on in LEATHAL REBEL was sent for a vet check and was found to have suffered a punture wound and joint pain with a 21 day stand down recommended |
| Race 12 | Sel's TAB Mangere Sprint - C5 - 318 | Soon after the start ENFLAME came across on to WIZARD'S WISH and COMPLICIT with these three dogs jostling for several strides with ,COMPLICIT went off stride for a couple of strides going back losing a couple of lengths . |
