| Race 1 | Awapuni Dash C0 - C0 - 375 | THRILLING AGENT was slow to begin losing three lengths. BREAKING MELODY and TAKE THE MICK collided when jumping from the boxes and again going to the first corner losing ground on both occasions. TAKE THE MICK suffered a webbing injury and was stood down for 14 days. BREAKING MELODY checked over the heels of THRILLING AGENT approaching the home turn and shifted out to run very wide into the home straight and finished in last place. |
| Race 2 | GEON Wellington C1 - C1 - 375 | DOWNEY shifted in from the start and caused checks to OH EMM EYE, NEW DESIRE and KUROHARA who all lost ground. NEW DESIRE stumbled for a stride going to the first corner and lost ground. KUROHARA checked over the heels of DOWNEY on the first corner and ran wide into the bend. KUROHARA appeared sore following the race, was examined by the Vet and stood down for 21 days with a toe joint injury. |

| Race 4 | Peter Sinclair Photos C2 - C2 - 375 | One of the favourites WHERES WALLY was a little slow to begin and then raced wide throughout covering extra ground and finished in 5th place. INIGO JONES and HOMEBUSH TAYLOR were also slow to begin and they stayed back to finish in the last two places. |

| Race 7 | Marton Stakes C4/5 - C4/5 - 457 | One of the favourites TARRA MAGIC was just back from midfield on the first corner but drifted from there and finished in last place. TARRA MAGIC was examined by the Vet as a precaution and stood down for 10 days with a tricep injury. |

| Race 9 | Foxton Dash C4/5 - C4/5 - 375 | SEMENYA shifted in on the first corner and checked JUST DEFY THAT who lost several lengths and went back to the rear and never recovered. |
| Race 10 | www.racingdogs.co.nz C4 - C4 - 375 | EMMAS HEART was galloped on by CAWBOURNE MO and severely checked losing several lengths and all chance on the first corner and CAWBOURNE MO fell. Both dogs were examined by the Vet and EMMAS HEART was stood down for three days with hind leg abrasions. CAWBOURNE MO was cleared of injury. |
| Race 11 | Hokowhitu Stakes C1 - C1 - 457 | OPAWA JOHNNY was slow to begin but with the assisstance of a clear inside run, he made up ground well to finish in 2nd place. PICK A PEPPER WAS checked on the first corner losing four lengths and he stayed back to finish in last place. HOWLIN WIND was observed to be sore following the race, was examined by the Vet and stood down for 10 days with a pectoral muscle injury. |
| Race 12 | Pahiatua Stakes C1/2 - C1/2 - 457 | PEKING TOM and LOUIE MACHALL bumped at the start and both dogs lost a little ground. PEKING TOM was handy enough on the bend but was checked losing three lengths. He was observed to be running on well at the finish for 4th placing. |
