Judicial report: Trainer Mr N P Green was fined $100-00 under the minor infringment rule when CAPTAIN RICHIE weighed in 1.8 kgs over his last race weight on the 2.10.2011
Handler Mr A Weston sought permission from the Stewards to wear an All Black jersey for the parade and boxing in race 3 ,due to the special occassion of the day this was allowed
The Auckland GRC sought permission from the Stewards and the connections of LITTLE MOTHER for her to lead out the field in the Waterloo Cup,as this was to be her final race at the Auckland track
The permission was allowed and LITTLE MOTHER received an ovation during the parade and a standing ovation when running out an easy winner of the Waterloo Cup

Race 1 $5,000 Bonus First4 Sprint - C4 - 318 MARK'S PET (fav) from the inside draw tried to keep out off the rail and in doing so kept in to contact with AUSTIN WILD for some distance ,soon after MARK'S PET went back a length and crossed over heels causing himself to be checked back to the rear, he went out wider on the track and never got back in to contention from there on in finishing in last placing at the line MARKS PET did make contact with the running rail racing in to the firt turn and was sent for a vet check where no abnormalities were found
Race 2 Thornton Auctions Sprint - C0 - 318 BON VOGUE was a late scratching at kennelling when presented with a left wrist injury with a 14 day stand down recommended FORECASTER was slow away from the boxes by several lengths ,he ran on well for 4th placing at the line racing in to the first turn there was tightning and jostling between FORECASTER, KARLA LEWINSKY, JETSUN WILKIE and DEB BALE(fav) with these dogs all losing a few lengths at this point ,they where not able to get back in to contention from there on in
Race 3 The Brownzy Sports Bar Sprint - C1 - 318 PERCENTAGE MAN was slow away from the boxes by several lengths Soon after the start VIBURNAM cut across the face of the field causing tightning to WORLD CUP MISS, SPARTACUS, RUBY TRON, STILL NO WIVES , Racing in to the first turn SPARTACUS came across on to STILL NO WIVES with them jostling resulting in SPARTACUS being turned sideways with PERCENTAGE MAN galloping up on his heels at this point WORLD CUP MISS who was wider out cut down on to RUBY TRON who was badly checked at this point STILL NO WIVES, SPARTACUS, PERCENTAGE MAN, WORLD CUP MISS and RUBY TRON all had their chances extinguished in these incidents SPARTACUS was sent for a vet check where he was found to have suffered a left wrist injury with a 14 day stand down recommended
Race 4 Manukau Stakes Feature - C5 - 527 BUTTONY BOYwas awkwardly away from midfield for a stride or so Racing on to the first turn KILARA;S FANCY, FANCY MILLY and BUTTONY BOY came together for a couple of strides as KILARA'S FANCY ran out in avoiding the heels of BENNY ROX ,all these dogs lost several lengths at this point and were not able to get in to contention from there on in in a spread out field
Race 5 Happy Birthday Sel from Mangere TAB - C2 - 318 BEARLY POSSIBLE was a late scratching at her kennels this morning when being checked by the connections was found to be in season In the run down to the first turn there was tightning and jostling for a few strides between CAWBOURNE STEFFI, TEN FOUR and FEARSOME MCKAY FEARSOME MCKAY recovered from this incident quickly to run out an easy winner
Race 6 Magness Benrow Stakes Feature - C3 - 527 All clear
Race 7 Reel-Fishin.com Series Heat 1 - C5q - 318 Heat 1 KISSIN KATE had caught a toe in her kennel as she was being retreived for her race ,she was checked by the vet and given the all clear to start KISSIN KATE was knocked over at the pull up to the lure and landed heavily and was sent for a vet check where no abnormalities were found
Race 8 $15,000 Pick6 Sprint - C3 - 318 Soon after the start CAPTAIN COUTTS ,checked back off the heels of WHAT'S SHE PAYNE who rolled in on CORPORAL JONES for a stride CAPTAIN COUTTS raced wide in to and around the top bend finishing the race of well to run out an easy winner
Race 9 Carol's TABS Stakes - C1 - 527 Racing on to the point of the top bend the first time around IMAGINATION clipped a heel of FANCY TOBY and lost his footing in behind and in regaining his balance he ran outwards checking PAMPEST at the same time IMAGINATION raced out wide down the back straight and her and PAMPEST were never able to get in to contention from there on in IMAGINATION was sent for a vet check where she was found to be suffering from pain in metacarpal and tender on fibula on palpation with a 14 day stand down recommended
Race 10 Reel-Fishin.com Series Heat 2 - C5q - 318 Heat 2 TERRY STANLEY a scraching in this race' he has been retired ,papers have been handed to the stewards race all clear
Race 11 Waterloo Cup - C5f - 527 Soon after the start THREE INCH NAIL and ASSEGAI came together for a couple of strides Racing in to the first bend THRILLING SIGHT and ASSEGAI came together with THRILLING SIGHT losing her footing in behind with THRILLING BOSS running in to the back of THRILLING SIGHT and trying to hurdle her resulting in both dogs falling heavily THRILLING SIGHT and THRILLING BOSS both recovered thier footing to finish on to the lure some distance behind the field Both dogs were sent for vet checks THRILLING SIGHT and THRILLING BOSS were examined by the vet where no abnormalities were found
Race 12 Jack's Wholesale Meats Stakes - C4 - 527 LOCHINVAR LAREDO (fav) was slow away from the start by a couple of lengths, he cut straight over to the rail and attempted to make up ground but came to the end of his run and finished midfield LOCHIVAR LAREDO was sent for a vet check where no abnormalities were found
Race 13 Go The All Blacks Sprint - C2 - 318 In the run down to the first turn CAWBOURNE BEAR was checked back as MATILDA'S BEST cut down to the rail ,this pushed THRILLING PETRA over onto CAWBOURNE BEAR who went back to the rear at that point On the point of the top bend PUNK PORTSEA had to check back off the heels of MATILDA'S BEST who was moving grpound in avoiding racing on to the heels of KID KOONAWARA at that point
