A Note from Chairman Sean Hannan

Hi everyone,

Glenda Hughes informed the GRNZ Board at the beginning of this year that she would be ending her contract as GRNZ CEO at the end of 2022.

When Glenda first agreed to take on the role of Acting CEO in 2019, the arrangement was that she would fill the role for an interim 6 months.

Due to the many changes and challenges GRNZ has been faced with and the increased workload, Glenda agreed to stay on until the completion of the Progress Review.

The Board would like to appoint the new CEO in mid-2022 as it will be important that when the new CEO is appointed they will get the opportunity to familiarise themselves with the multifactorial nature of our industry.

Glenda has agreed to continue to work with the new appointee through to the end of 2022 to ensure a smooth transition.
