Position Available: Track Curator for Auckland GRC

The Auckland Greyhound Racing Club is seeking the services of a Track Curator at its complex at the Manukau Sports Bowl, Manukau City.

This role requires the preparation and maintenance of our sand/loam racing surface, maintaining of equipment and some ground maintenance.  The successful applicant must have a New Zealand driver licence to be able to operate both a tractor and water truck.  There is some degree of physical work involved. 

This is an up to 40-hour per week position, with Sunday being a working day, as that is our race day.

The successful applicant needs to have pride in their work, be reliable and be able to work autonomously.

The preparation of our racing surface is critical as the safety of our racing dogs is paramount.  It is essential that our Track Curator has a real passion for their work and understands fully how important track preparation is in obtaining safety.
