Covid-19 Safe Work Site Protocols

 

The Government's move to Alert Level 3 expanded the opportunity to return to work from Essential Workplaces to Safe Workplaces.

 

This saw GRNZ together with the Greyhound Racing Clubs, some LPs and other raceday workers, put together a number of protocols to eliminate or best manage the risks, to everyone taking part in a raceday, arising from Covid-19.

 

Those protocols were submitted to WorkSafe for endorsement in order to provide assurance to GRNZ, its staff and the Greyhound community that the measures it has developed meet WorkSafe's expectations for management of COVID-19-related risks in the workplace

 

Having an interim assurance from WorkSafe assisted GRNZ and the Clubs to make the decision that we can commence trials and racing Safely under Alert Level 3.
