Dog Food Financial Hardship Scheme for Trainers

Hi everyone, 

Effective from 27 March 2020 GRNZ will be introducing a dog food financial hardship scheme for trainers requiring assistance in order to continue feeding their greyhounds until racing is able to resume in New Zealand.

Applications that are approved by GRNZ will allow trainers to be reimbursed for up to 75% of the cost of Coprice during this period. Trainers who wish to apply for this financial support can apply using the application form here.

Note: This scheme does not just apply to current racing greyhounds, it can apply to pups, retired racers, greyhounds on a waitlist to be rehomed etc. we want to ensure all dogs are fed.
