New Zealand Cup Night Swabbing Operation
This week, the RACING INTEGRITY UNIT received confirmation that all 95 swab samples taken from the Christchurch Greyhound Racing Club’s New Zealand Cup meeting, held on the 14th November 2019, have returned negative results. Only one greyhound on the night was unable to provide a sample, due to requiring immediate Veterinary attention.
These results are pleasing for everyone concerned with the objectives of the operation being achieved, namely that every greyhound engaged on the biggest night of the greyhound racing calendar did so on a level playing field; enhancing public and punter confidence in the sport of Greyhound Racing.
