1 Memoir $61 & $16: She whacked away soundly for her 8.75 length third in what was swiftly run 295m dash. She must jump straight onto the early pace from her kind draw.

 

2 Hear This $61 & $16: She finished solidly for her 4.25 length heat second after jumping away from this trap. She has to make a better start in this dash.

 

3 Lisa’s Boy $126 & $31: He controlled the pace throughout when delivering his bold 17.45s heat win. He must use those same tactics again here.

 

4 Ketchikan Kim $81 & $21: She finished solidly for her 1.25 length heat second. She can feature in this dash providing she hops straight onto the early pace here.

 

5 Trojan Hoarse $18 & $5: Hejoins this series as a heat exempted contender. This dual Group 1 winner is bringing tidy Hatrick and Manawatu sprint form south with him.

 

6 Miss Claude $81 & $21: She slipped around the outer to deliver her bold track debut 17.35s heat win. She’s a likely improver following her track debut outing.

 

7 Select Trick $6 & $2.20: She impressed when delivering her NZ debut 17.11s heat win. She can only improve following that bold effort.

2 Ohana Lad $61 & $16: He gamely chased after the pace making heat winner for his length second. He has no option but to contest the early pace here.

 

3 Blitz ‘Em Rene $31 & $7.50: She rediscovered her early pace to deliver her bold pace making 17.18s heat win. She must apply those same racing tactics here.

 

4 Bolty $2.50 & $1.40: He is absolutely flying as seen by his turbo charged 16.88s heat win. Seven smart wins from just seven race day outings simply says wow!

2 Beck Eleven $41 & $11: She tried real gamely when she was denied the heat win by a nose margin. She achieved that from the same trap she has been allocated here.

 

3 Buddy Boom $5 & $2: He was super when delivering his pace making 17.20s heat win. Expect further improvement from this talented northern trained sprinter here.

 

4 Dizzy Banjo $101 & $26: She settled handy from her one trap draw from where she kicked on for her two length heat second. She must match her 17.12s best winning 295m time here.

 

5 Mustang Tully $10 & $3.20: She pushed up during the early rush and kicked away for her 17.32s heat win. Strength at the business end of her races looks to be her best asset.

2 Hilton Forabet $61 & $16: She was solid in the manner that she sprinted after the pacemaker for her 1.25 length heat second. A similar on the pace effort is required here.

 

3 Flora Dora $41 & $11: She held on real gamely when she claimed her 17.41s heat win. A time close to her 17.06s best winning 295m time can see her booking her final field place.

 

4 Kiwi Boy $16 & $4.70: He used his known early pace and strength when delivering his bold 17.27s heat win. His claims here certainly cannot be lightly dismissed.

 

5 Super Over Drama $10 & $3.20: He was stylish when he delivered his bold pace making 17.15s heat win. He can and he must apply exactly the same tactics in this dash.
